Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif addresses the Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) launch ceremony. Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Radio Pakistan, speaks at the Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) inauguration.— Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated on Friday that it was now open to the public to see how General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa had been assisting the former premier in achieving his political tragedies, describing Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, as a "hypocrite."

Speaking at the Islamabad launch of the Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO), PM Shahbaz Sharif said, "In a bid to steer the country out of the crisis, Pakistan’s armed forces and General Bajwa provided all possible support to Imran Khan, but he failed."

The current premier stated, "General Bajwa wanted Pakistan to move forward under the leadership of Imran Khan, but the latter failed as prime minister." The individuals who brought Imran Khan to power are the targets of accusations.

What kind of language is Khan employing against General Bajwa? He has no rival in abuse,” he stated, adding that the leader of the PTI had demolished Pakistani society.

Khan ruined relations with friendly nations PM Shehbaz Sharif made fun of the former prime minister, who was ousted from power by a vote of no confidence last year. He said that he ruined relations between Islamabad and friendly nations, which have always supported Pakistan.

Beijing was enraged when Khan accused Chinese companies of corruption, he added. My position prevents me from disclosing the specifics here.

Traders urged to save "national resources" PM Shehbaz addressed the ceremony and urged the business community to support the government's recently announced energy conservation plan, which would mark the early closure of markets and restaurants, in order to ensure the judicious use of national resources and cut the import bill.

"I urge the business community to extend their support for the government's efforts to conserve energy." This will result in a decrease in oil imports and a decrease in the value of the dollar, which would then be used to fund the country's development, including medicine and agriculture, he added.

The premier stated that a nation's difficulties required collective action and expressed the hope that traders from all over the country would participate in this "jihad" to safeguard the country's resources.

"Govt to abide by its commitments with IMF": The prime minister referred to his Thursday phone conversation with Kristalina Georgieva, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in which he promised that, in contrast to the government that came before it, the current one would uphold its commitments to the international lender without putting additional strain on the populace.

However, he also informed the head of the IMF about the country's deteriorating economic situation as a result of the worst floods and stated that his government could no longer impose additional taxes on the poor.

In addition, the premier stated that a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is anticipated to visit Pakistan in two to three days to "take up and finalise" the ninth economic review in order to free up a $1.1 billion bailout tranche that was urgently required.

He also told the group about his 45-minute phone conversation with the Chinese premier on Thursday, in which the Chinese premier promised not to leave Pakistan alone. The prime minister said this was evidence of the improvement of bilateral relations that had been strained by the bad foreign policy of the previous government.

The prime minister gave the assurance that the coalition government would do everything in its power to help the populace, including creating jobs.

He stated his determination that the incumbent government would lead Pakistan to greatness under the leadership of PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif.
