Govt announces 20,000 scholarship for unemployed graduates
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiative, Ahsan Iqbal, has announced that the government has decided to provide 20,000 scholarship to unemployed
graduates of the country.
The deadline to submit an online application under "Learning Opportunities Abroad" on the HEC portal, www.scholarship.hec.gov.pk, is Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Please visit https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/login to verify the deadline and submit an online application for the HAT test (Masters & PhD) and USAT test (Undergraduate). After January 1, 2022, if you already have a valid HAT or USAT score, you can submit it on the HEC portal while submitting your application.
The Chinese Scholarship Council, Government of China, is providing Pakistani students and intellectuals with the opportunity to study and conduct research in Chinese Universities in an effort to strengthen educational cooperation between China and Pakistan. HEC is the agency submitting candidates for these scholarships for the academic year 2023–2024 on behalf of the Pakistani government.
The Chinese Government Scholarship Program is administered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), which has been given this responsibility by the People's Republic of China's Ministry of Education. Scholarship applications are accepted for undergraduate/ bachelor's, master's, and doctoral/PhD programmes in the relevant fields of study from qualified individuals.
For scholarship awardees at all levels, designated Chinese universities provide a wide range of academic programmes in the fields of science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, legal studies, management, education, history, literature, philosophy, and the fine arts, among others.
