The incident had been condemned by Pakistan's political leaders, including former premier Imran Khan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
"No words are sufficient to denounce the abhorrable demonstration of profaning of the Blessed Quran by a conservative radical in Sweden satisfactorily. It is against the law to use freedom of speech to hurt the religious feelings of 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide. This is inadmissible," Sharif had tweeted.
